About the Experience:
The first MEP Cycling Retreat was conceived and designed to explore ourselves through movement, in community while in connection with nature. Through breathwork, meditation, movement and cycling we’ll use our bodies to release, grow and connect to ourSelves and one another. It will be deeply intimate, sharing meals, long rides and practices of inner exploration through the breath and emotions alongside the outer exploration on two wheels. We recommend coming with an open mind, no expectations and of course, a bike. Base camp is set up in a beautiful forest in Marin, with a movement space, pool, plenty of grass and trees to help us re-balance our nervous system.

You’ll also receive a full cycling kit from MAAP, Cadence fuel, gear from Oakley.

 

Your Hosts: Ryan Willms & Michael ‘Bing’ Bingaman
MEP (mindful endurance program) was started by Ryan Willms, as a way to bring spirituality and sport together. While diving deep into emotional work of his own, the parallel development of physical endurance not only supported this growth but the two complemented and helped each other, and so Ryan has begun developing a series of workshops and experiences where we can use the medium of movement practice to connect more deeply to ourSelf and others.

 Bing is a strength trainer, community facilitator and beast of a cyclist on and off the road. He’ll be guiding us through roads of Marin with his extensive local knowledge and many miles ridden in the area. He has also helped to craft a training plan for on-bike and strength leading up to the weekend together.
